About This Site
Where does the stuff you sell come from?
This site merely provides information on products offered by Amazon.com, a
Fortune 500 company and basically the biggest retailer on the Internet
today.
You load up your shopping cart here, and check out directly at Amazon.com
via a secure server. Your name, address, and credit card information are
given directly to Amazon, and never seen by this site.
Is this site safe?
Yes. Again, we're the virtual equivalent of getting a catalog in the mail.
When you want to buy, you are sent to Amazon.com, one of the most trusted
retailers on the Internet.
How do you make money?
Amazon.com pays us a 4%+ commission on everything you buy.
And all of the money you receive goes to animal charities?
That's correct. 100% of the money we receive goes to animal charities.
Okay, so what animal charity?
The rules of Amazon's Associates program prevent us from naming specific
charities.
How much money have you paid out?
Amazon's rules on revealing that are somewhat unclear, so we'll just say
that it is "hundreds of dollars."
How much do you think you can make?
That depends a great deal on you, actually. Well, it will depend on three
factors:
- How many people use the site
- How faithfully they use it
- How many people they tell to use it
Lots of people shop at Amazon.com all the time. If we can convince them to
do so through this site -- and there's little reason not to, you get the
same products at the same price, with the same service and security of
shopping directly at Amazon.com -- things could add up nicely over time.
And who are you, anyway?
We are Jenn & Matt
Riffle.
